All non-Lutheran applicants for membership are required to take this class to become a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Three classes.       ALL ABOUT ZION (101) (TBA - Room 108)   For all new members*, including those who have previously been a member of a Lutheran church. One class.     SPIRITUAL GIFTS- God's Design For You (200) (TBA - Room 106) We have all been given spiritual gifts! These gifts are special abilities given to Christians for the sake of building up the Body of Christ and extending His mission on earth. Learn to grow to spiritual maturity by learning what gifts God has blessed you with and how you can serve and grow in the areas of your giftedness. This class is for all new members including those who have previously been a member of a Lutheran church. Two classes.     EXPLORING FAITH MATURITY (300) (TBA - Room 106) A discipleship study that evaluates your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Discover how that relationship transforms your life and the lives of others through time, treasures and talents. Six classes.     SHARE JESUS WITHOUT FEARZION 400   (TBA - Room 105) Be equipped to share your faith in Jesus with confidence and without fear. This easy-to-use relational approach to witnessing, teaches that you cannot fail in sharing your faith if you depend on the power of God for the results! Discover ways to guide a witnessing conversation without fear of failure or rejection. Participants receive a “Share Jesus Without Fear” Bible when completing this course!  Four classes.         PRAYER GROUPS AT ZION Email Prayer Chain is one of the ways Zion keeps in touch with each other to form a prayer strength for those who request prayers, and for those whose present struggle brings renewed strength and comfort for them. Please consider a gift to this fund which provides assistance to members of Zion in need. {Mark your gift “BENEVOLENCE FUND”}                                                           HANDBELL CHOIR The Handbell Choir meets on Mondays at 7:00 pm. They will be performing November through April on the fourth Sunday of each month. Remember the Nursery Rhyme “Old Mother Hubbard“? The food pantry at Zion is beginning to resemble Old Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard. Please - check the expiration dates. Please - no open food packages  Each bag of food is filled with enough groceries to feed a family of 4 more than three meals. Please notify the church office if you know of an individual who needs our assistance.  NEEDED: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Tuna, and Rice-- Donations may be left in the box labeled “food pantry” near the Welcome Center.
